To be able to wake up and see the clock in my room is still astonishing to me daily. I would also like to thank you for how comfortable you and your whole staff made me feel throughout the process.

Results from the 25th annual American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery(ASCRS) Member Practice Style Survey show there is sustained growth in cataract surgery and use of specialty implants. As baby boomers age there is no stopping the wave of cataracts from coming. In addition, two new technologies have progressed that make future cataract surgery even brighter for patients. The first is the development of a laser that creates the surgical incision and helps to break apart the cataract for surgical removal. The second is the rapid improvement in specialty replacement lenses(implants or IOL's) that allow for treatment of astigmatism and presbyopia(the need for reading glasses). In addition to Laser Vision Correction(LASIK and PRK), Kameen Eye Associates is also performing premium cataract surgery using these specialty implants. Please call 410.339.7200 for more information.
